We respect your privacy and make considerable efforts to protect your data.
Here’s an overview of some of our security practices.
Leave Dates' services are all hosted in Amazon Web Services facilities in the USA.
All of our servers live within our virtual private clouds (VPCs) with rules preventing unauthorised requests from entering our network.
The data stored in our database is replicated across 3 data centres to protect against data loss. When routine maintenance is required, or in the unlikely event of an issue in our primary data centre, the database service will automatically failover to a secondary data centre.
All data exchanged with the Leave Dates website and mobile apps is transmitted using TLS. This is a widely adopted security method designed to facilitate privacy and data security for communications over the Internet.
Amazon Web Services uses the industry-standard AES-256 encryption algorithm to encrypt your data on the server that hosts your DB cluster.
We use a threat detection service which continuously monitors for malicious activity and unauthorised behaviour, such as hacking. The service uses machine learning, anomaly detection, and integrated threat intelligence to identify and prioritize potential threats.
Leave Dates employees will only access customer data when required for support reasons, with permission from the customer.
Payment / Credit Cards
Leave Dates does not store any credit/debit card information for online payments. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, who are PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
We deeply appreciate any effort to disclose vulnerabilities responsibly. If you have any security concerns, please get in touch with us.
