Data Storage

Leave Dates' servers and databases are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the eu-west-1  region (Ireland). AWS data centres hold ISO 27001 , along with SOC 1 , SOC 2  and SOC 3 certifications.

Data Transfer

Data exchanged with the Leave Dates website and mobile apps is transmitted using TLS 1.2or higher . This is a widely adopted security method designed to enhance privacy and data security for Internet communications.

Encryption

Industry-standard AES-256  encryption algorithm to encrypt your data on the server that hosts your DB cluster.

Monitoring

We use Amazon GuardDuty, a threat detection service that continuously monitors our environment for malicious activity and unauthorised behaviour, such as hacking. The service uses machine learning, anomaly detection, and integrated threat intelligence to identify and prioritise potential threats.

Operational Security

Leave Dates employees will only access customer data when required for support purposes, with the customer's permission. 

Payment / Credit Cards

Leave Dates does not store any credit or debit card information for online payments. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1  certified.
