Update your payment method

You can add a new payment method to your Leave Dates subscription at any time through the Billing Portal. This allows you to change the payment method used for future subscription renewals or save multiple payment methods to choose from when renewing your subscription.

Note: You must have an active Leave Dates subscription to access the Billing Portal.

Add a new payment method

  1. In Leave Dates, go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Click Open billing portal.

The Billing Portal opens in a new window. Under the Payment method section, click Add payment method.

On the Add payment method page:

  1. Select your preferred payment method from the available options (for example, Card, PayPal, Bacs Direct Debit, or another supported payment method).
  2. Enter the required payment details.
  3. Complete any additional billing information requested for the selected payment method.

The information you'll need to provide depends on the payment method you choose. For example, if you're adding a card, you'll typically be asked to enter:

  • Card number
  • Expiry date
  • Security code (CVC)
  • Billing country

After entering all the required information, click Add.

Your new payment method is saved to your account and will be available for future subscription renewals. If you have multiple payment methods saved, make sure that you have set the correct one to be your default payment method. Do this by clicking the three dots beside your preferred method, and select Make default.

Replace or remove an existing payment method

If your current payment method has expired or is no longer valid, you can replace it by adding a new payment method and removing the old one.

  1. Add your new payment method by following the steps above.
  2. If you want future subscription renewals to use the new payment method, click the ••• menu next to it and select Make default.
  3. Once you've confirmed that the new payment method is set as the default, you can remove the old one by clicking the ••• menu next to the old payment method and selecting Delete.

Tip: We recommend adding and setting your new payment method as the default before deleting the old one. This helps ensure there is always a valid payment method available for future subscription renewals.

Managing multiple payment methods

You can save more than one payment method to your billing profile. The payment method marked Default will be used for future subscription renewals.

If a payment method is no longer needed—for example, because a credit card has expired or has been replaced—you can safely delete it from the Billing Portal after setting another payment method as the default.
